For years a variety of people have tried to persuade them to move downtown and they wouldn't budge, so there is more to this story than a "non-paved space." Much more.For those of us with longer memories we remember when the Farmer's Market was in Freeman Park. That is where it started. Kinda ironic, don't 'cha think?
