My husband works with one of the organizers who said they will be able to sell food at their new location. A contractual agreement with the food vendors at the mall prevented them from doing so at the mall location. There have been worries about parking in the past about downtown Farmer's Markets in Woodland. I think the move to the park will be great...much more pleasant experience

10:04 AM...Sorry, but there is a mystery here. For years a variety of people have tried to persuade them to move downtown and they wouldn't budge, so there is more to this story than a "non-paved space." Much more.<BR/>For those of us with longer memories we remember when the Farmer's Market was in Freeman Park. That is where it started. Kinda ironic, don't 'cha think?

I am not sure how this will work. Are they going to do a bumb sweep first, then check the local sleepers to see if they are sex offenders so we can bring our children? They should have gone to John Ferns Park or the space between The Democrat and Second.
