The School District should inquire if PG&E has an incentive or rebate program in place that would off set the cost the District would incur in updating the lights as required by the State. By doing so, the District might be pleasantly surprised by the response from PG&E . In my opinion, the District should allow more public participation in the decision making process in matters such as this.
