Thank you for posting this - Bill was my cousin. I was 6 years old when he was shot down in Vietnam. I never knew him. He and his brother Lauren were both causalities of that war. Very sad. It's great to see that trademark smile. Dad has another wartime picture of Bill - so this makes #2 for us. We’re sharing this with his other cousins and remaining family.

I'm curious LM, if I may, how did you know Bill? Thanks so much for remembering him here.

I grew up with Bill. I seem to recall we were teammates as far back as Little League. Hard to remember everything but know that we attended the same schools and graduated from WHS (the old one) the same year. I entered the Army and Bill the Air Force.
