Infielder Ryan Williams selected to All-West Region Team, batted .356 for SF Gators

SF State baseball players’ Pat Haugen (Cayucos, California, Cuesta College) and Ryan Williams (Woodland, California, Yuba College)were named to the 2010 Daktronics Division II All-West Region Baseball Team as announced [on May 13].

Williams played in 49 of the Gators’ 54 games and started in all 49 of them at either first base, third base, or designated hitter. He led the Gators with his .356 batting average, 38 runs batted in, and 13 doubles. Williams also had 6 home runs while scoring 28 runs and had 58 hits. The Woodland native had a .971 fielding percentage, .546 slugging percentage, and a .449 on-base percentage.
