Warriner to give "Cut Throat" only ten years for Triple Nickel killing

From Yolo County, District Attorney:
On March 23, 2010, a 29 year old Woodland man, Marcelino Michel, pled no contest to voluntary manslaughter and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm for his role in the July 26th, 2009, shooting death of William Martinez. Michel also made admissions that will enhance his sentence including that he had been convicted of a prior “strike” offense and that he had served three prior terms in state prison.

On Monday a jury convicts a gangbanger for shooting his dope dealer who lives and he faces life sentence. Yesterday this other judge takes a plea and is expected to give a ten year sentence?
