Brooks resident responds to Thompson/Morrison editorial in Daily Democrat
From the Woodland Record - Letters to the Editor:
"This is in answer to last Friday’s op-ed in the Democrat by Helen Thomson and David Morrison. Democrat wouldn’t run it, told me I had 450 words. Hope the WR can run it in its entirety."
Here it is:
In the Daily Democrat editorial, “Yolo County works to build better communities” Helen Thomson and David Morrison describe how the Yolo County Planning and Public Works Department is able to assist in “successfully navigating through the maze of confusing regulations.”
Are they kidding? Has anybody looked at the new Yolo County General Plan?
Every type of land use restriction imaginable on your land and my land is in the document.
Helen Thomson has always told the agricultural community that agriculture was the county’s first priority, but the General Plan drops the Williamson Act when it would only take a little over $1M a year to fund it.

More craziness from Vicki Murphy! She is so paranoid. Everyone is out to get her!
The General Plan took years, held so many public hearings no one could attend them all, took copious amounts of public comment and incorporated them into the plan, and yet she is still convinced that it is some plot hatched in secret.

The only nuts are Mike McGowan, Matt Rexroad, Helen Thomson and their henchman David Morrison and of course their developer Cronies.
David Morrison should have been let go years ago over the Sarjit incident. David was Sarjits boss. Supervisors let Planner Sarjit go after a closed session meeting twisting his leave to medical issues; but Sarjit took 30K from local developer Dan Dowling.
David M. is a front line thug and tool used for political manuvering by McGowan, Thompson, Rexroad and "friends" to take out their competitors using the planning department. This is to help assist local develoepr interests or close in on political activists such as Clarksberg's, Bob Kirlan.
Because of such intrusions; Bob's pumpkin patch and ranch was raided by the DA's office and he and his wife arrested. Then he faced a $150,000 K fine/bill from the DA for "Illegal" buildings; which are no different than others in the county.
My point is David Morrison has allowed development in designated protected agricultural green belts for delelopers while going after people that are not in good standing with the county to run them out of town.
Vicki's letter is well written. ALthough I do not know her, I doubt Vicki is crazy, there is probably more to the story.

The Greenies are up in arms about the "Algorisms" poor Rexroad fell into the Tiger pit of Global Warming/Climate Change/Dubious Documents scam.
Ya know, Chamberlain has a bunch of unpermitted buildings on his properties as well...ask the planning department. has he been fined? No....
That is part of the point.
Just ask Brenda Cedarblade.
The county will probably out to get Vicki next and I would venture to guess that "wacked out vicki" and the Sup Chamberlain post was posted by Supervisor Matt Rexroad.
It's pretty clear that Vicki, who thinks that Obama isn't a citizen, that the UN is conspiring to take over our sovereignty, that we are going to enter a North American Union and print new money, and that when you zone something you turn it into a 'park', has some mental health issues.
I, for one, think Vicki is a brave woman for standing up for her American rights! She needs to continue being a leader on the issue of our rights and immediately stop paying property taxes to the corrupt government. In fact, please stop paying them for 6 years...
