Greenwald calls Asmundson liar at Davis City Council meeting

I have seen a lot of things in the last four years, probably more than most in this community. I have seen the best in people and at times the worst in people. However, I am not sure I have ever seen a worse side of people than I did on Tuesday night. The worst of it came after the cameras were off.
I delayed writing about this for a day. I wanted to gain some reflection. I wanted to see how things played out. I spoke to other reporters about the propriety of reporting such a personal encounter and asked what they would do. But mostly I watched the response of the community and whether Councilmember Sue Greenwald would step up and take responsibility for her actions on Tuesday.

After watching this video a couple of times.... reading the Davis Vanguard article on the rest of the story as well as watching more video of other conflicts between these two women on YouTube.....
Ruth needs to step down due to a flat our lack of fortitude and health and being able to manage e the stress of the job. He lack of knowledge and inability to follow the Roberts Rules while under pressure are allowing the issues to get lost.
Sue Greenwald is a schoolyard bully. She really wanted to be Mayor again and didnt win and she just can't handle going from the top dog to a second fiddle. She also has no class and completely disgraces the City of Davis. The most appalling behavior being described by one of her own supporters in the vanguard article as well and more examples on you other than this latest one.
Sport referees do it often. When two players scrap...they toss them both out.
For the benefit of the City of Davis...these two women are both losers and this we only continue unless they BOTH find a new activity to do with their misdirected passion and spare time.
Greenwald is a nut.
If the Mayor cannot handle a situation were she was caught in a lie than being mayor is not where she needs to be.
She should step down as well. To Greenwald she is defending herself and for that she should be commended however just could have handled it better.
The other council members are a spineless if the mayor was lying shame on you for defending her.

nobody defended the Mayor and since the claimed LIE was in closed session and no other council members have come out (not under duress like Lamar) and confirmed it....we don't really know.
The original comment called for both of these idiots to step down. One for absolutely boorish behavior and one for being completely inept and infirm.
Stop dry-humping Sue's leg and actually read the comments before tossing your "shame on you's" out there.....
