EIR process begins for giant Petrovich strip mall in zoned reserve

ULL enables rezone application for 154 acres of retail use, including an automall – three times the size of the 55 acre Gateway I

Buried in the City of Woodland's Web site – from the home page, find "Departments," then stumble on "Community Development," and then look down the list to find "Public Notices" – is a link to a PDF for the "Notice of Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report for the Proposed Woodland Gateway Phase II Project (APN: 027-390-029, 027-390-031, 027-390-032)."

Unbeknownst to most Woodland residents, a scoping meeting was held Wednesday night (October 21) in the City Council Chambers. An account of that meeting will soon be published at YoloSun.wordpress.com. Written comments are due to the City of Woodland at 520 Court Street, Woodland CA 95695, by 5:00 pm on November 2, 2009. Address your comments to Cindy Norris, Community Development Department.

Read more at the Woodland Record.

Read the complete Public Notice.

Comments made here at the Woodland Journal will be submitted to the City of Woodland as part of this process.

" ULL (Matt Rexroad's Urban 'Limit' Line"...enables rezone application for 154 acres of retail use, including an automall – three times the size of the 55 acre Gateway I

So Brenda and Frank were right? Matt's Urbal Limit Line (ULL) really was an

"Urban EXPANSION Line".

God help us. Somebody please run against Matt Rexroad.

I vote for David Wilkinson. He literally became so inspired that he wrote a book on Woodland's true treasures.

The "Notice of Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report for the Proposed Woodland Gateway Phase II Project" has been removed from the city's Web site.
