Contractor of the millennium! From approval to shell in a week!

It took a long time to get the necessary approval from Woodland and Yolo County, but the owner of an ARCO Service Station and Mini-Mart may soon start construction of his building near Denny's Restaurant on North West Street.
Acting Tuesday night [Feb. 17], the City Council unanimously approved the business, but only after more than a year of problems having to do with whether the city or county would receive sales and property tax money.

Photo submitted by a Woodland Journal correspondent on Feb. 24. That's quick work. The state should hire the contractor to build the New Woodland Courthouse. More than likely, they could also quickly demolish the Public Defender's office and the county's holding jail which seem to be bees in Yolo's bonnet.

I have just one thing to say
This story is a shining example of the lack of following the whole story instead of just sitting on their you know whats and writing from a computer. Get out there and look around lots of news out there stop waiting for it to happen and then write about 2 weeks later only to find that you have completely failed on the story.
The daily disgrace has been going down hill for the last several years. Since they are reporting on other newspapers that might not make it, maybe it's time they looked in the mirror. If I were a betting man I would say that given the current climate this paper will be moving it's complete operations to vacaville. Sooner than anyone thinks. Probably destin to become a weekly paper.
Nothing like a little extortion to get business rolling.

Can I suggest that if you're going to steal content from another website that you at least credit them with the correct spelling and not be such a smart ass. Not only is this common decency but it would also be within the law. It's obvious that this site has become an extension of the Woodland Record (which is another stolen name, although legally) but you should really try to keep the Anti-Daily Democrat rhetoric down. It looks really pathetic from an outside perspective.
It is interesting that you have chosen to abridge your so loved freedom of speech by mandatory blog owner approval by the way. What's that matter, are you afraid that someone might expose the truth or that you'll actually have to defend your asinine comments.
