Consultants need to hire a superintendent?

Three meetings to help with "characteristics" of a superintendent? Aren't those in the job description?

District wasting money again.

Stop it Dino. Before I opened the comments part of this post I was saying the same things out loud that you just printed.

Characteristics will be the LAST thing these consultants are interested in. It is the process that makes them more money. The consultants need to come up with ways to waste taxpayer dollars. That is exactly what they are banking on. Wasted process wasted money.

Characteristics of a Superintendent:
Honest
Intelligent
Pleasant

Experience and skills required of a Superintendent:
Must have working knowledge of the Brown Act
Must have basic accounting skills
Must have proven communications skills

I wish Carmella would stay.

What would the district do without consultants. Who needs staff when you can hire consultants. Let's imagine what the School district would be like without consultants:

1. No Blue Shield Building
2. No Supe
3. No enviromental problem detected
4. More money for teachers and students.
5. No reports would get read
6. No Attorney's needed

I guess the list could go on and on.

I'm looking forward to see how they are going to handl;

"Hartzell v. Connell"(1984) 35 Cal.3rd 899, 201 Cal Rptr. 601: 679 P. 2d 35

Will they sweep it under the rug or do the right thing.

there is a blog for comments/ideas of how budget cuts should be made, it is not on the Woodland Joint Unified School Districts website (what a surprise) the website is:
http://publicbudget.mywjusd.org
I don't know why this was not made public by the school admin. or the board.

It's a 35 page breif and very interesting how school districts argue that they have the right to YOUR money.
