Mesa del Sol water tank becomes landmark
From the Mesa del Sol community Web site:
The new water tower at Mesa del Sol, a unique landmark that reflects the city’s native landscaping, is nearly complete as crews have hoisted a two million- gallon water tank up on the tower.
The water tower has a 46-foot diameter base and was built using 1800 cubic yards of concrete. Built at a cost of $3.6 million, Mesa del Sol officials will dedicate the structure to the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority.
